Dolphins Pre-school recognises that the quality and variety of work and activities carried out in our Pre-school provides an ideal training opportunity for placement from university, college and school related courses, as well as those studying for a variety of Early Years qualifications. We also offer placements for individuals seeking work experience.
We aim to provide experiences that contribute to the successful completion of studies and that provide examples of quality practice in early years care and education. Our Objectives Dolphins Pre-school has two objectives which we hope to achieve. Firstly, that individuals gain a meaningful experience of what working life is like in a high quality Pre-school caring for children in the age range 2 to 5 years and staffed by highly-experienced, dedicated people. Secondly, we want individuals to enjoy their time with us. Policies and procedures support and guide us in our mission. Those interested in applying should download and read the document below carefully before applying. The needs of the children are paramount and placements are not offered in numbers which hinder our work. Individuals applying for placements must be confirmed by their tutor as being registered on a bona fide child-care course which provides necessary background understanding of children’s development and activities. All are required to comply with strict Policies in operation at the setting. |
